St Joseph's Primary and Nursery School
Organiser Description
The events are held at St. Joseph's Catholic and Church of England Primary and Nursery school which is a Microsoft Showcase school and Training Academy; which has 4 Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts and a Skype Master Teacher, as well as close connections with a Microsoft Learning Consultant.
The school is situated in economically challenging areas along the M1 corridor. At St Joseph's, we are an eager, enthusiastic and energetic staff who embrace change and are inspired to help other educators and school leaders learn how to optimize their use of technology in and out of the classroom and improve learning outcomes for their students. We work collaboratively as a team to provide our children with stimulating and engaging approaches to teaching and learning.
As a result of our dedication to empower our children to achieve more through technology, we have been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School and Training Academy. All training encompasses an element of seeing the software in action within the school setting and then taking a hand on approach with technology, making it practical and relevant.
