This event is organised by the London-based research cluster Children's Literature Children's Lives, run by Queen Mary, University of London staff and postgraduates from the School of Languages, Linguistics and Film and the School of Geography.

This research cluster aims to explore the position of children’s literature in the daily lives of children, the influence it has on the way they play, dress, think and behave, and the ways in which children’s literature feeds into and spills out onto other cultural domains.
