Doily Days & The Vintage Parade

Doily Days was established in 2009 as a vintage hire company. Owner and founder Helen Ruff has been involved with many vintage/alternative events, she's run her own (retro-themed) pop-up bar and publishes Doily Days loves Weddings magazine twice a year.

Owner and founder of The Vintage Parade, Alex Cvijovic, runs a successful vintage fair twice a year at the Guildhall, Winchester and she organises the vintage retail aspect at Carfest. Alex has previously run unique/alternative wedding fairs in Winchester, Southampton and at Stansted House (as The Nostalgic Wedding Fair) and Slindon College.

With a mutual love for all things vintage and kitsch Helen and Alex became firm friends and they collaborated on a ‘Working in Weddingland’ photo shoot with Jenny Owens (photographer) in January 2015 which was featured in issue five of Doily Days magazine. Both Helen and Alex have independently organised and worked on styled shoots that have appeared in print and on blogs.
