We're a Christian child development and child advocacy ministry. For more than 60 years, we’ve been partnering with local churches in developing countries to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

CHILD-FOCUSED

Children are most vulnerable to the effects of poverty. Everything we do is about ensuring the children in our care are known, loved and protected. 

CHRIST-CENTRED

Through our projects we demonstrate the love and hope of Christ in a relevant and sensitive ways. Many Compassion-sponsored children develop lifelong relationships with Christ for themselves and even share their faith with their families.

CHURCH-BASED

We partner with churches in 26 of the world’s poorest countries. These churches are able to meet the specific needs of their communities.
