Edge provides specialist consultancy and training on the operation of the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA).Several of our directors and trainers are leading authors in the field.We use highly experienced trainers, all with direct work experience in relation to people with mental health problems and/or limited mental capacity, to deliver training. We are commissioned by Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, CCGs and private providers.We train a wide range of staff groups including psychiatrists, AMHPs, BIAs, social workers and nurses. We concentrate on making the law accessible to these staff groups so that it can be applied in practice. All of our training is practical and involves case studies tailored to the needs of each group.
