Edinburgh Skeptics Society

The Edinburgh Skeptics Society exists to promote  science, reason and critical thinking.

We are a non-profit, unincorporated association dedicated to providing events, talks and performances aimed at the community of Edinburgh. We were founded in 2009, and are proud to draw on the tradition of critical thinking and skepticism embodied by  and the Scottish Enlightenment.

We are run by volunteers whose critical thinking skills are drawn into question by the amount of unpaid time they put in.

We host a variety of regular events and co-ordinate full programme of talks and shows during the Edinburgh Festival.
