Emma Watkins

Emma graduated from Edinburgh University in 2008 with a Masters in Ancient Greek.  She started her career building the global CSR & events department at the Investment Management Company, Winton Capital.  

In 2014, she moved to head up the business development & operations at TwitRocket, a small tech start up based in Old St.  The company re-branded at the start of 2015 to Fifty Technology Ltd, a high level technology consultancy and service business.  Alongside this, in July 2015 she founded Start Ups & Vino, a networking hub for bright, young stars of small business.  

Her passion for philanthropy was ignited in 2004, whilst working in Northern Ghana with a small human rights charity, Afrikids

She is also a trustee for Inner Voices

In November 2013, Emma qualified as a yoga alliance teacher, further developing her practice by completing the Warriors at Ease training in the Bahamas in Spring 2015, a programme dedicated to providing yoga to ex military.  

Through this training, she began working with Frederique SardaisLouise EdwardsJo Duffin

Emma is also a liveryman at Merchant Taylors Company.
