Ps Wayne & Libby Huirua Bio 2016Wayne & Libby Huirua are passionate about God and His presence, and about helping to facilitate an atmosphere where others can have an encounter with Him through worship.They have served in full-time ministry for over 25 years in music, worship, recording and training. Their background is diverse and varied, from youth evangelism and discipleship with Youth for Christ, to helping establish Excel School of Performing Arts, plus 10 years with the Parachute Band, producing New Zealand worship albums, touring and leading worship and preaching in many nations around the world.With their heart for training and equipping, Wayne and Libby provide worship and training seminars for local church worship teams and this desire to equip and train compelled them to launch Equippers Creative Lab in 2014 – a full time creative arts school, based in Equippers Church, Auckland, where their heart is to mentor and train creative Christians, and send them out to be an influence wherever God places them.Wayne & Libby live in Auckland, New Zealand, with their two children Grace and Josh. They are on the ordained pastoral staff of Equippers Church, where they have been planted since 1992, and serve on the leadership team of its Creative Ministries department.
