The Care Home Quality Improvement Team is committed to enhancing the quality of care delivered by independent providers across Dorset, by supporting staff and managers to achieve the optimum levels of care delivery.

Our work is underpinned by the service specification and standards set out within the contract, CQC registration standards, the Care Act 2014, the Health & Social Care Act 2008 - 2014 and The Mental Capacity Act 2005, supported by National Guidance including: National Institute of Health & Care Excellence (NICE), The Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC); Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), Skills for Care and others.
