Nottinghamshire Hospice
Nottinghamshire Hospice is an independent local charity serving people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire who have been told that their illness cannot be cured, as well as supporting their families during this difficult time.
We pride ourselves on giving people the opportunity to choose where they want to be cared for at the end of their life. We do this by caring for patients in their own home through the Hospice at Home team and in our Day Therapy Centre by our care team. Our family and carer support team provide counselling as well as advice on coping with the problems faced in these difficult times.
All of our services are provided free of charge, with only a small proportion of our funding coming from the NHS. The remainder comes from the generosity and kindness of local people by donating and supporting our shops; arranging fundraising events; or by attending our events.
