NYBEP is a not-for-profit social enterprise, an education business partnership with a 23 year track record of successfully engaging employers in education.
Everything we do is aimed at helping young people to acquire the skills and knowledge that prepare them for the workplace and inspire them to plan for and achieve a successful future
Based in York, we have extended our reach across Yorkshire and the North East of England. We connect with around 30,000 young people each year, providing work-related activity that focuses on career exploration, developing employability skills and knowledge, understanding the value of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) and raises aspirations.
We have a talented team of staff with experience of successfully delivering high quality activity in education, training, community, the voluntary sector and other contexts. All our delivery staff are appropriately qualified, and we deliver our programmes in schools, businesses and a variety of other settings.
Over the last six years we have developed a sustainable business model focused on developing an all-age service that attracts funding direct from schools, colleges and employers as well as a range of partners such as STEMNET, Coastal Communities Fund, Community Learning, the EU, Big Bang (Engineering-UK) and many more.
