SIRPA’s approach focuses on actual recovery, rather than treating or managing the pain. It involves an educational, evidence-based and self-empowering approach to help individuals identify and acknowledge the underlying causes of their pain while also developing nerve pathways that allow a pain free, healthy life. Because the nerve pathways involved in chronic pain are reversible, full recovery is possible, irrespective of the pain’s severity or duration.

SIRPA’s mission and values.

  • Empowering individuals to evolve through education
  • SIRPA commits to grow, learn and develop as an organisation
  • Ethics, integrity and authenticity are at the core of SIRPA’s ethos

SIRPA’s mission is to engage health professionals and people in pain to train them in the SIRPA approach to chronic pain recovery, equipping them with practical competencies necessary to shift from living with pain to living without it.

Chronic pain is now the leading cause of disability, affecting 20 – 30% of the global population. By cultivating a community of ambassadors for the emerging curative paradigm, SIRPA aims to dramatically reduce human suffering in the world.
