Team RAFBF Lossiemouth

Team RAFBF Lossiemouth was set up in November 2012 to raise funds for the RAF Benevolent Fund at RAF Lossiemouth, as well as increasing their profile. The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity and receives no government funding, so fundraising is vital to help them raise the £21m they need each year to support our RAF personnel, their families and all our veterans.

Team RAFBF Lossiemouth is managed by a small committee, we arrange our own events, attend local planned events, support others in their fundraising and encourage people to participate in sponsored events. To date (Oct 2016) the team has raised over £55,000 for the RAF Benevolent Fund, in 2013 we won the RAFBF's Silver Hawk Trophy for best fundraising team and were short-listed again in 2015 & 2016.

We have previously held a 80's karaoke party, quiz nights, cake sales, coffee mornings and fayres, We also support others in their RAFBF fundraising locally, as well as co-ordinating challenges such as Cairngorm to Coast in May 2015 and2016.
