The Creativity Room

The Creativity Room is a space created for children to unleash their imagination through fun arts and crafts projects: all activities are aimed at empowering children and building up confidence. Children experiment with different techniques and mediums - water colour, oil pastels, acrylic paint, pastels, collage, mosaic, paper mache and so on...the list is endless! 

While our workshops are stimulating and fun, we also touch on topics learned in school such as shapes, mathematical concepts applied to art and drawing, colour as a methaphore for expressing emotions and for describing reality, literacy through storytelling and puppetry. This is to us very important as we want to give children a different dimension in terms of what they learn in a school environment,:applying  such concepts to play and every day life to make them fun and useful.

Workshops are centred around nature, the seasons, the environment, save the bees, the seaside, Winter wonderlands using materials taken from woodland and meadows; seasonal events such Santa's workshop, Carnival masks and puppetry, Easter chicks, bunnies and eggs, Halloween witches; themed fairy tales, pirates, back to school and so much more!!!

Children learn new techniques and bring home their creations, giving them a sense of accomplishment and will inspire them to use their creativity independently!

The atmosphere in our workshops is one of acceptance, support and community: everyone is welcome to The Creativity Room...get ready to make room for creativity!
