The Music Troupe

The Music Troupe was formed in 2013 with the aim to bring back the art of 'beautiful singing' into new operas that are designed for smaller spaces: operas that aren't 'scaled-down' productions of bigger works (no Carmens, La Traviatas or Bohemes!) but new chamber operas in which the music and drama are tailored, not trimmed, to an intimate experience.

We perform new and crunchy, bite-sized operas!

Previous productions include: Six Characters in Search of a Stage (Brighton Fringe and London venues, May 2014), The Catfish Conundrum, (Tête-à-Tête Festival at Kings Place, August 2014), Opera With A Title (Tête-à-Tête Festival at Kings Place, August 2015)
