The Royal Caledonian Education Trust

Scotland's Armed Forces Children's Charity

The Royal Caledonian Education Trust was founded in 1815 and is the only charity which provides vital educational support to help children and young people from Scottish armed forces families, including veterans and reservists, who are experiencing financial difficulties or living with ill health and disability.

The RCET supports children's education and wellbeing through the school years into further and higher education' by providing grants to those in need.   The Trust also has a very successful education programme in Scotland and works with schools, local authorities, charities and military communities on a range of initiatives to support armed forces children, their teachers and their families in the school environment.
