UCL Centre for Low Countries Studies

The Centre for Low Countries Studies runs a full programme of research, teaching, publications, and events focusing on the Low Countries: Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Situated strategically between France, Germany, and Britain, the Low Countries lie at the economic, political, and cultural crossroads of Europe. Historically, they have always been a place where people, goods, and ideas from around Europe and beyond encounter and interact with one another. The mission of the UCL Low Countries Centre is to study a series of historic relationships and to nurture their further development in the present day.
