Westminster Abbey Institute
Westminster Abbey is one of the world’s great churches, with a history stretching back over a thousand years. Its place on Parliament Square with the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary on the other three sides gives it a unique opportunity to offer compassionate, reflective and challenging space and time to those who serve the nation.
Westminster Abbey Institute was founded to work with the public service institutions around and near Parliament Square to revitalise moral and spiritual values in public life. The Institute draws on the Abbey's resources of spirituality and scholarship, rooted in its Benedictine tradition, to regenerate public life as a force for good. It is a forum for lively truth-telling, provocative conversation and calm reflection on issues of morality, spirituality, politics and policy-making.
