Xylonite Arts was set up in 2014 by artist and curator Lili Spain. Since then the project has manfested in various ways. From October 2014-May 2015 it lived in a small but perfectly formed shop space, hosting temporary exhibitions, workshops and events, framed by high end crafts, artists editions and carefully curated vintage homeware and furniture - which helped covered the costs of this not for profit project.
While looking for a permenant home in Highams Park, Xylonite Arts has Directed two consecutive Highams Park Festivals, with the support of the superbly creative community of Highams Park. It hosts pop up events and vintage markets, including the recent Highams Park Flea & Tea Market September 2016.
