Magnum is a British rock band formed all the way back in 1972, and still active to this day. Of course, such a long-running career in the music industry was accompanied by a few lineup changes, and currently, Magnum consists of two founding members, Bob Catley as the lead vocalist and Tony Clarkin as the lead guitarist and vocalist.

The remaining members include Rick Benton as the keyboardist, Lee Morris as the drummer, and Dennis Ward as the bassist and backing vocalist, they joined the band in 2016, 2017, and 2019 respectively.

In the first few years after the formation, Magnum mainly performed as backing bands for various artists, and in 1977 they even supported Judas Priest on their Sin After Sin tour. Their first major release didn’t come until 1980. “Marauder” is the album that started garnering them attention, reaching number 34 in the UK charts.
