EVENTBRITE CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
  1. HOW TO APPLY
You may enter the contest only by submitting a comment via www.eventbrite.co.uk/blog///running-awards-caption-competition (“Submission”) and providing the following information:
  • Caption
  • Name
  • Email
You must completely and accurately submit all required information to enter. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. All Submissions must be received between 12:01 a.m. GMT on April 6, 2016 and 11:59 p.m. GMT on April 13, 2016. Eventbrite is not responsible for late or unsuccessful attempts to enter. Incomplete, corrupted, untimely, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. If for any reason your entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, your sole remedy is another entry in the Contest. Eventbrite reserve the right to determine in its sole discretion which entries have satisfied the entry requirements. Note: Submitting a Submission Form through the website is not necessary in order to enter the contest. To enter without submitting a Submission Form, persons may print their name, address, email, phone, company and event type; and mail it to the address below. There is a limit of one entry per person and all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2016.   • Contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or inappropriate content
  • Include trademarks, logos or copyrighted materials not owned by you
  • Include the names or similarity of any individual without their express consent
  • Disparage Eventbrite or any other person or party affiliated with the promotion.

2 (two) VIP Dining tickets to the Running Awards (https://therunningawards.com), on 22nd April, 2016.
  1. ELIGIBILITY:
For UK entrants, all legal UK residents 18 years of age or older are eligible to enter the contest. By entering this contest, you accept the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agree to be bound by the decisions of Eventbrite and warrant that you are eligible to enter the contest. Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Eventbrite, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to enter the contest (the “Excluded Persons”). In the event that an Excluded Person serves on the board of, is an officer of, owns or otherwise has the power or authority to direct the decision making of an applicant, that applicant will also be considered an Excluded Person and is not eligible to enter the contest or win a prize. PRIZES ARE VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW AND ARE SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Entry constitutes your certification that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Eventbrite reserves the right to verify and confirm your age and compliance with other eligibility requirements. You may be required to submit further information to assist in the judges’ verification of eligibility. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
  1. USE OF CONTENT/SUBMISSIONS:
By submitting a Submission to Eventbrite, you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, and do hereby grant, to Eventbrite the paid-up, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, non-exclusive right and license to (a) use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display any such Submission Form (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate all or any portion of it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party that may exist in such Submission Form (or any part thereof); and (b) use the Submission Form (or any part thereof), including without limitation, the right and license to make, use, sell, offer for sale, and import any products and/or services which practice or embody, or are configured for use in practicing, all or any portion of the Submission Form and the right to practice. Under no circumstances will Eventbrite be required to treat any Submission Form (or any part thereof) or the related event listing as confidential. Eventbrite will be entitled to use the Submission Form (or any part thereof) for any purpose whatsoever without compensation to you or any other person. By submitting a Submission to Eventbrite, you represent and warrant that your entry (and Eventbrite and its designees’ use thereof) does not and will not defame or otherwise violate the rights of any third party and does not and will not violate any federal, state, or local laws or ordinances. You further represent and warrant that you have secured the requisite consent from any third party referenced or appearing in the event. Eventbrite reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry that they believe violates any of the event requirements listed above, does not otherwise comply with these Official Rules, or that is not consistent with the spirit and theme of the contest.
  1. SELECTION OF WINNERS:
The judging will take place between April 14, 2016 and April 20, 2016. Submission Forms from eligible applicants will be reviewed and judged by Eventbrite.  Entries will be judged on the basis of: Humour, Originality, Relevance to the subject,,among such other criteria as Eventbrite may set in its sole discretion (the “Criteria”). The judges will select one winner by April 20, 2016. The winner will be notified by email to the email address used to register by April 20, 2016.  Such notification shall include instructions for proper acceptance of the prize. In the event a winner does not accept a prize within three (3) business days, a winner is ineligible, or the prize notification is not deliverable, an alternate winner may be selected.  The judging decision is final and conclusive in all circumstances. Eventbrite is not responsible for failed notifications due to incorrect or inoperable email addresses or phone numbers. Any notification message or prize returned as undeliverable will result in the forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternate winner as described above. Eventbrite reserves the right to reschedule the drawing without notification to participants.
  1. CONDITIONS:
Eventbrite UK Limited and its agents, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, insurers, servants, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, predecessors, successors, representatives, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and legal advisors (the “Released Entities”), are not responsible for, shall not be liable for, and hereby disclaim all liability arising from or relating to: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, misaddressed, incomplete, or unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, computer or other malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, whether human or technical; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer or e-mail transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Eventbrite; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of any prize, or any portion thereof that may have been awarded, or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, or any portion thereof that may have been awarded, or from participation in the contest and awarding process; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest and awarding process. Eventbrite reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or cancel the contest and awarding process should any unauthorised human intervention or other causes beyond Eventbrite’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the contest and awarding process. In the event that proper administration of the contest and awarding process is prevented by such causes as contemplated above, Eventbrite will pick the winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such action. By participating in the contest and awarding process, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless the Released Entities, and all others associated with the development and execution of the contest and awarding process, from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising out of or relating to the contest and awarding process, participation in the contest and awarding process, any prize, or any portion thereof that may have been awarded, and/or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or any portion thereof that may have been awarded, including but not limited to statutory and common law claims for misappropriation or your right of publicity. Winners assume liability for injuries, damages, losses or expenses of any kind caused or claimed to be caused by participation, or by the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prizes. Any taxes or fees in excess of the prize are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.  Prize is nontransferable. Winner is subject to these Official Rules.

  1. NOTICE:
Eventbrite reserves the right to prosecute and seek damages against any individual who attempts to deliberately undermine the proper operation of the contest and awarding process in violation of these Official Rules and/or criminal and/or civil law.
