  • Come and grab the mic! Showcase your talent whether that be to singing, dancing, rapping, poetry, art or even bring by your Halloween themed food for all to buy & enjoy. We will be dressed up in costumes and jammin' to Halloween classics! The vibe will be contagious.

  • A poetry slam is a competition between poets performing original work judged by members of the audience. This poetry slam is organized by Jacob Winterstein, Kai Davis, and Jasmine Combs.
  • Remember show & tell in school? This show is like that, but instead of nervous middle schoolers, it’s a cast of hilarious PHIT performers. Each cast member brings an object and tells a story about it. The story and object then inspire the improvised scenes that follow it.
  • Each month, we’ll welcome pre-selected performers from every genre to step up to the mic, along with a Featured Artist hand-picked by REC Philly. Whether you’re a performer, a supporter, an industry professional, or just a music lover – Philly Rising Open Mic is the place to be.
  • Camden Renaissance Leaders is a nonprofit focused on the expression of art and community engagement.
  • We are excited to provide a space where our community members have an open platform to express their original written art in the form of poetry or spoken word (no instruments please).
  • Shahiyd Daood headlines the first-ever Poetry Reborn event, along with opening acts enticement and A.C Summer. We will have an open mic portion also from 8 pm to 9 pm. Drinks and refreshments will be available.
