Organizer of Global& Transregional Studies Research Seminars
The Global and Transregional Studies Research Group (GTS) brings together an inter-disciplinary group of scholars at the College of Arts and the University of Lincoln who share research interests in international, transregional, and global studies. Researchers are increasingly interested in transregional research approaches in history, art/architectural/material history, social and political history, heritage, music, archaeology and the digital heritage, among others. ‘Global comparisons’ present epistemological challenges that are shared among several disciplines present at the University of Lincoln, UK.The research group has the largest membership in the College of Arts, meets regularly and its activities include a seminar series, group peer-feedback sessions and workshops. The GTS is coordinated by Dr Laura Fernández-González from the School of History and Heritage.
