Immersive creative workshops

Zero to 50 showcases emerging, older creatives working in photography, painting, collage, performance, poetry, film and more.By becoming visible ourselves and presenting our creative work, we challenge outdated stereotypes of ageing, celebrate later-life creativity, and bring attention to the rich intersectionality of lived experience — including culture, gender, sexuality, class, and identity and more. Our lives are present in our work and are not separate - our creativity often amplifying and extending our previous careers and interests in surprising, fresh ways.Our website features the work of emerging 3rd age creatives, many of whom come together for joint projects - including six artists showing our work in Navigating Life, our first Zero to 50 exhibition, at Whitespace Gallery, Edinburgh from 21 November 2025. Through workshops, and collaborative projects, we create spaces for connection, dialogue, and recognition.We welcome new, emerging 3rd age creatives to join zero to 50!
