There are seven colleges at London South Bank University. The School of Engineering is one of the largest colleges at London South Bank University. In the Faculty of Engineering, research is primarily application-oriented and focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration with business. Many businesses and organisations come to us to help with their problems and we are one of the UK's leading knowledge transfer (KTP) programme providers. Our university does more KTP programs than other universities, and the College of Engineering does more KTP programs than other schools. We are also one of the top 20 universities in the UK for engineering research and fifth in the UK for electrical engineering, and most of our work is rated as international excellence in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014).
