Open Workshops' workshops are opportunities to work on a planned project guided by an expert. They also include required instruction on tools and techniques. Workshops always result in something attendees can take home with them!
The mission of Open Workshops is to bring science, technology, engineering, and the arts to everyone by offering community-oriented crafting space and educational events which are open, accessible, and affordable to all. Our workshop is a makerspace - a collaborative workspace open to the community - where anyone can come to learn a new skill like soldering or woodworking, use shared equipment like a 3D printer or laser cutter, and engage in common interests: art, science, engineering, sewing, programming, design, math, and more!Open Workshops is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the metro Detroit area.
