I invite you to join us at this year’s AGM at the Hotel Novotel York Centre. The AGM will be held at 6.30pm prompt - please note that only Members are able to attend the AGM. Additionally, only full, joint and retired members are eligible to vote.
At the conclusion of the AGM, estimated to be no later than 7.30pm, we will be having a two course meal at the hotel and we are delighted to welcome as our key note speaker York Councillor, Johnny Hayes, an independent representing the Micklegate Ward, former Chairman of Bishopthorpe Road Traders Association and owner of Frankie and Johnny’s Cookshop on the Bishopthorpe Road parade of shops. Bishopthorpe Road, affectionately known as “Bishy Road” is a parade of shops which have in recent times enjoyed positive publicity and rejuvenation. They won the Great British High Streets Award for a Local Centre or Parade for the whole of Britain. It also won the coveted Winner of Winners Award. If you like Independent shops, cafes, restaurants and businesses then Bishy Road is must go destination.
It is set to be an interesting and entertaining evening as Johnny brings a wealth of experience and anecdotes from both his life before going into business for himself as a retailer and as a key influencer with the local Government.
When booking your place, please indicate your desired choices from the options below in the comments section of the booking form. If you have any dietary needs please also let us know these by the 24th October at the latest by contacting email@example.com so we can be sure to accomodate you.
