1-2-1 Grant Fundraising Clinic

Sarah Boardman of the Bright Ideas Partnership is offering one hour advice surgeries for small charities to bring any issues, advice or support they are looking for about grant fundraising.  This could include topics such as: what to include in a funding application; how to identify funders who are likely to support your organisation; tips on how to apply to some of the major funders such as the Big Lottery Fund; Henry Smith Charity or BBC Children in Need.

This session is aimed at anyone who is involved in Grant Fundraising for a small charity.

The Bright Ideas Partnership facilitates charities to find and secure funding, measure their impact, and strengthen their organisation. They also provide mentoring support to enable you to write your funding application in-house.

Bright Ideas has a success rate of 40% for funding applications submitted, significantly higher than the industry average and represents excellent value for money, delivering £40.92 for every £1 invested in us.They specialise in applications to the Big Lottery Fund on behalf of a wide range of not-for-profits including organisations who have never before secured large amounts of grant funding.

In their 11-year experience, they have submitted 30 successful Lottery bids – securing almost £9million in funding, with a 96% success rate at second stage.
