This one day course is uniquely co-designed and co-delivered by specialists from The National Organisation for FASD and Seashell’s Outreach Team.
The course is aimed at professionals across Health, Education and Social Care who want to improve their awareness of FASD.
Course content includes:
- Cause of FASD; its prevalence and terminology
- Identification of signs and symptoms across the lifespan that a person with FASD may display
- How to get a diagnosis
- Strategies for supporting a person with FASD, including voices from the FASD community
This is an online course running on Zoom from 9.30 - 3.30.
Terms and conditions
The course will only take place if the minimum number of delegates (12) is met. The course can be postponed or rearranged to a date suitable for the National Organisation for FASD / Seashell if the training does not meet the minimum number of delegates (12) required. In the event that the training is cancelled by the organisers and you are unable to attend the alternative proposed date, you shall be entitled to a full refund minus Eventbrite’s fee which is nonrefundable.
A decision will be made 10/05/2025 as to whether the minmum requirements have been met and the training can go ahead.
In the event you wish to cancel, a refund of:
100% (minus Eventbrite's fee) will be given if the cancellation is made more than 2 months prior to the training's start date.
50% (minus Eventbrite's fee) will be given if the cancellation is made less than 2 months but more than 10 working days prior to the training's start date.
No refund will be given if cancellations are made less than 10 working days prior to the training's start date.
