That´s because a lot of us have toxins built up in our bodies that are weighing us down and preventing our metabolism from functioning optimally. Our bodies become so focused on trying to eliminate the buildup of toxins and heal from the inflammation that comes from eating too much or eating the wrong types of foods that there is no energy left for fat burning. 

That’s why detoxing is crucial when it comes to restoring your energy levels & losing weight. It helps your body reboot, reset, clear out toxins and get back on track so that you can see results almost immediately. 

This is exactly why I´ve designed the 10 day detox & reboot program! I want to provide you with all the support & guidance you need to clear out all the toxins from your body, boost your energy levels & activate your body´s natural ability to burn fat! 

This is how it works:

I´ve broken the meal plan & the shopping lists into 3 parts so that it´s easier for you to manage and so that the ingredients you are using is always fresh.  

3 days before the start of your detox (so on Friday the 6th of October) you will receive an email with a meal plan with exactly what to eat over the next 3 days as well as a full shopping list with the ingredients you´ll need for the recipes.

On Wednesday the 11th you will receive the second 3 day meal plan with the recipes & shopping list. Finally you will receive the last meal plan, recipes & shopping list on Friday the 13th of October which will take you to the end.

The recipes are dead easy, most take less than 20 minutes to prepare and are planned so that you can do most of the preparation on the weekends & have a packed meal for lunch and snacks every day. However, you will need 90-120 minutes each Sunday ( the 7th & the 15th) to prep a few things ahead of the week so please plan in accordance.

A blender is recommended as it will be used for a lot of the recipes. A spiralizer is also recommended but not compulsory. You will need 4-5 tupperwares. 

The meal plan has been carefully designed to include an abundance of detoxifying foods that are filled with vitamins & nutrients that will boost your energy levels, activate your body´s natural ability to burn fat and make you feel amazing!

At the same time you will be taking a break from the most common inflammatory foods, namely gluten, dairy, red meat & refined sugar. This will make it easier for your body to detoxify and is a good opportunity for you to test whether you feel better by removing some of these from your diet.

Removing coffee & alcohol is highly recommended as they can place an extra burden on your body as it tries to detox. Because of this, I recommend avoiding them to make the most of your program. However, it´s your detox, so it´s up to you to decide what you will & will not do!

Once the program is started, from Monday the 9th of October, you will receive daily emails to keep you motivated and to provide you with helpful advice to support you in your reset.

You will be given practical tips on why & how to up your water intake, improve your sleep & stress less. These lifestyle elements are as important in supporting your health & wellbeing as your diet and I am therefore committed to helping you in these areas too!

FAQs

Will I be hungry?

Absolutely not. If anything, you will feel less hungry. A lot of diets & detoxes succeed in helping you lose weight in the short run because they are based on restriction but they don´t address the underlying causes for why your body holds onto unwanted weight in the first place. A lot of this is due to inflammation & lack of nutrients. This is why this program is designed to fuel your body with the best quality protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins & minerals it needs so that it can let go of toxins and the extra weight. 

This might be a difficult concept to grasp when you come from a place of restriction but I will guide you each step of the way & soon you will realize that your hunger mechanism resets itself and you naturally become less hungry. And if you do happen to be hungry then you are allowed to eat! Just follow the meal plan and you´ll be good!

Is this program low fat, low calorie or low something else?

Nope. This program is not about calorie restriction or about avoiding any macronutrient. It´s about improving the quality of your food and giving you all the necessary nutrients you need to strive. It includes plenty of healthy fat - like avocados, seeds, nuts & coconut oil - as well as the right balance of protein & carbs. 

I have an allergy/sensitivity/can´t eat certain foods. Can I still do this program?

Absolutely! The program is naturally gluten & dairy free and is overall favorable to those with special dietary needs. The foundation of this program is to keep out any foods you are sensitive or allergic to. If you need extra help with recommendations on food swaps, just drop me a line and I´ll be happy to help!
