With GDPR now only just over 4 months away from becoming directly applicable in the UK, it is important that all business owners and/or their managers responsible for data protection, know what their new legal obligations are in relation to processing the personal data of UK and EU citizens. Failure to comply will leave any organisation open to enforcement action with heavy fines and a damaged public reputation.

This practical workshop is a jam-packed day of facilitated discussions & analytical activities, supported through the provision of key information and resources - including GDPR guidance, various templates, sample policies & self-assessment tools. These will enable you to develop an Action Plan, to take away and kick start GDPR Implementation back in your business/organisation.

The session will also provide an opportunity for colleagues from across all sectors and sizes of organisations, to identify their own primary questions about GDPR at the start of the session, helping to tailor the content for the group where applicable.

Prior to the workshop, you will be provided with a GDPR readiness self-assessment and an opportunity to highlight your specific challenges, enabling us to tailor the sessions to meet specific business needs on the day - where applicable/possible.
