10 WEEK BASIC ADULT SELF DEFENCE COURSE

Overview

£40 workshop to learn basic self defence blocks and strikes. We will look at street based scenarios on how to get away from safely.

This 10-week beginner course is designed to teach adults the essential skills needed to stay safe, confident, and in control during real-life situations. Across structured weekly sessions, participants will learn practical, easy-to-remember techniques focused on awareness, prevention, and effective self-protection. This workshop will cost £40 for the workshop.

The course covers fundamental striking, blocking, breakaway techniques, and defensive body positioning, along with how to respond under pressure. Each session combines step-by-step instruction with partner drills to build muscle memory, boost confidence, and improve overall fitness.

By the end of the programme, participants will have a strong foundation in personal safety, a better understanding of risk awareness, and the ability to react decisively and safely if confronted. No previous experience is required — the course is open to all adults who want to feel more empowered, capable, and secure in their daily lives.
