One key debate around the question of Scottish independence concerns who, precisely, are the interested constituencies in the referendum and what kind of stake do they have in the future of Scotland. As Britain is a Union state the answer is both compound and complex. The relevant constituencies include the UK as a whole, as well as each of its 'national' parts: Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England.

This event, timed to be approximately 100 days before the Scottish referendum, will bring together speakers from Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, England and a central UK perspective, to consider the following questions:

What are the implications of the Scottish question and its resolution, from the viewpoint of ‘your’ constituency? How might the differing implications of a 'yes' or 'no' vote affect your view of the appropriate outcome from the point of view of that constituency?
