Event description

Description

As the RAF celebrates its centenary year, we look back at the technological, economic and social impact of the military aircraft sector on the UK. We also examine its effect on Britain’s place in the world – and ask what might be needed by air forces in the future. This event is held in association with BAE Systems.

Speakers include:

  • Chair- Andrew Neil, Chairman, Spectator Magazine Group
  • Sir Roger Carr, Chairman, BAE Systems
  • Air Vice-Marshal Simon Rochelle, Chief of Staff Availability, HQ Air Command
  • Ian Waddell, General Secretary, Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions
  • Professor John Louth, Director of Defence, Industries and Society Programme, Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies.

The event is free to attend but spaces are limited. Register today to guarantee your place. Please note registration will close on Monday 18 June.
