101 class of Polish language and culture
Tue 21 March 2017, 17:00 – 18:00 GMT
Would you like to learn some essential Polish phrases? Are you interested in Polish culture and customs? You`re in the right place!
As a part of the fundraising campaign to tackle mental health stigma, supported by Heads Together and Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, we`re organising this unique event – a short course of basics of Polish language and culture.
You`ll learn hand-picked, daily life phrases that will win you smiles and appreciation among Polish people! If you`re planning holidays in Poland, they may make a difference to your trip! We`ll also cover common Polish customs…some of them possibly confusing, which will help you get through Polish weddings, birthday parties or simply getting a train ticket in Poland.
Most of all…you`ll try the original, traditional Polish sausage. If you`re a vegetarian, we`ll find something for you as well.
Please join us, you`ll learn about Poland and support an important cause. Also, fun guaranteed!
If you sign up to the event, please make a donation (suggested donation is £10) on http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/childrencharity
