10:10 Talks: the UK press and wind power
Thu 20 October 2016, 18:30 – 20:00 BST
How does the UK press cover onshore wind power? And do they take a different approach when it comes to covering fracking?
You might think you have a good answer to those questions... But now Sandra Bernick, PhD student at Imperial College London, has done the digging, and is ready to tell you what she's found out.
This is your chance to learn who has been talking about wind and fracking, what they've been saying and who they have been talking to.
Arrive 6:15 for a sharp 6:30 start. Sandra will outline her research followed by a short response from Richard Black of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit. There also be plenty of time for questions, discussions and ideas about what this new data might mean for the future of the UK energy debate.
The event won't be catered, but feel free do bring your own food or drink.
