Do I need to pay for my child who is under 2 years old?

Accepted Answer

Children under 2 years of age go free when accompanying older family members. Tickets must be purchased for under 2-year olds if not accompanying older family members. Under 2’s that do not pay are unable to receive a gift from Santa. If you wish you’re under 2 to receive a gift, please buy a ticket

Can I change my booking once it's made?

Accepted Answer

No, bookings can not be changed once they have been paid for. If you wish to change your booking you will need to request a refund on your original booking and purchase tickets for the date and time you wish to change to.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds are possible up to 30 days before the event. Refunds are not available after 30 days before the event. If you request a refund you will be charged an administration fee.

Where do we go?

Father Christmas can be found in The Tropical House within the grounds of Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop. Where to go will be fully signposted when you arrive and Mrs Claus will be waiting to greet you.

Can we come as a group?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are sold in half hour sessions, with 6 tickets per session. Should you wish to visit as a group you will need to purchase the number of tickets you require in the time slot that suits you.

We are unable to sell more than 6 tickets per session.

Do we get a present from Father Christmas?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every paid ticket will receive a baby spruce tree to plant at home. Under 2-year olds who do not pay will not receive a gift. If you want a gift for you’re under 2 please purchase a ticket.

How long does the experience take?

You get 30 minutes inside the Christmas wonderland. During this time you can complete the trail and meet with Santa. The Father Christmas Experience is part of our fantastic Christmas Market so make sure you leave plenty of time to browse our gifts and craft stalls and grab yummy refreshments.

Yes, Woodthorpe Park has a good number of FREE parking spaces.
