Description

Building on ‘Getting Started with Library Resources’, this workshop will introduce effective searching techniques to help you improve your search results and locate quality information for your assignments.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

+ Use the library catalogue (LibrarySearch) to find different types of resources

+ Search academic databases and the internet to find quality information

+ Critically evaluate information resources

In the workshop we will try to use real life examples, so please bring along any searches you are currently working on.
