MANGA JIMAN can be translated as ‘having pride in manga’ and is the name of the Embassy of Japan's annual manga-writing competition. This exhibition features the winning entries from this year's competition whereby entrants created original manga referencing this year's theme of ‘Sights of Japan’. Witness, read and enjoy some great manga creations from some of the UK's talented up and coming manga artists!
If reading these wonderful works of manga inspires you, don't forget to draw on our Manga Wall before you leave! Pens, pencils and other stationary are provided for you to find a space, and get drawing!
There will also be a slideshow displaying the many wonderful entries which unfortunately did not make the final shortlist this year.
Finally, a mini library of manga and other Japanese artworks will be available for you to browse at your leisure.
Open weekdays 09:30 - 17:30, closed weekends
Admission is FREE, but photo ID is necessary to gain entry to the Embassy.
