Description

Kicking off British Science Week - Photon Fun! (Sponsored by the British Science Association).
4 free workshops - 10-30, 11-30 am 14-00 and 15-00 pm and a lunchtime talk at 1-00.
Spend an hour: exploring camera obscuras, take a pinhole camera selfie, watch your negative appearing in a darkroom then finally construct a 3 month exposure pinhole camera to take home,,,,,All in the time it takes to travel 67000 miles around the Sun!
Please try to arrive at the times specified although the workshops will stop between 1-00 and 2-00 during the talk (below).

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Any one below 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

A small amount of on street parking (free at the weekends) but buses go along City Road, (number 5) and loads drop off at nearby Stokes Croft.

Can I just turn up?

Thats fine but we are limited to the number of people we can fit into the darkroom (14) so there may be some waiting.
