Frequently asked questions

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, there is a dedicated wheelchair entrance at the Town Hall and a lift to the first floor which provides access to all areas of the conference.

Is lunch included?

Absolutely it is! As well as breakfast if you arrive early enough. Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking your tickets.

Is there a drinks reception?

The drinks reception is an incredibly popular part of the event and we wouldn't send you home without a chance to decompress, network with other delegates and find out who the winners of the various raffles and competitions are.

Where is the agenda?

Initially, the agenda will be available on our website - www.oxfordinvestigationservice.co.uk The OIS conference app will also feature the very latest agenda when the event is published there.

Is this a hybrid event? Can I access it online?

This is an in-person event only although some exhibitors will be adding online content to the Oxford Investigation Service website - www.oxfordinvestigationservice.co.uk

I heard a rumour about prize draws, what's the word?

Yep, there will be a number of raffles and competitions running over the course of the day and prizes will all be drawn at the post-event Drinks Reception. All money raised is donated to our chosen charity CRISIS, so please do get involved and help raise funds for this worthy cause.

Is there any parking at the venue?

There are car parks around the City but Oxford is known to be difficult to access by car. If you are travelling by car, please use one of the 5 Park and Ride sites around Oxford. For further information please visit, www.oxfordinvestigationservice.co.uk/getting-to-us.

What if I book a ticket but then find I can't attend?

Plans change, we get that. So it's easy to cancel your ticket via Eventbrite if you need to. However, if you cancel within 14 days of the event taking place, or if you don't attend on the day, you may be liable to a £49 charge to cover costs incurred in catering, equipment and facilitation.
