#11000 181016 Tour of Houses of Parliament, Meeting with Local MPs and London Eye
Tuesday, 18 October 2016 from 11:00 to 15:30 (BST)
Tour of Houses of Parliament, MP Meeting and London Eye
This is a fabulous opportunity to have a full guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, see the infamous Central Lobby, the Commons and the Lords and hear about the history and workings of this historic building. We are extremely grateful to George Freeman, MP for Mid Norfolk, for arranging this for us.
This event is open to members and non members and there are various ticket options:
FSB Member: Tour and MP Meeting - FREE
Non Member: Tour and MP Meeting - £10
FSB Member: Tour, MP Meeting and London Eye - £21.95
Non Member: Tour, MP Meeting and London Eye - £31.95
You will need to arrive at the Cromwell Green entrance no later than 11am in order to allow enough time to clear the "airport-style" security checks. Please bring photographic ID with you and once you have cleared security make your way to Westminster Hall where the tour will begin at 11.55am.
At 1.30pm after the tour, George Freeman has arranged for us to have the use of a committee room in Portcullis House, the massive new office accommodation for MPs 'over the road' where we will be hosting our Region's MPs, many of whom have agreed to visit and speak to members. A great opportunity to hear from our representatives direct.
The meeting will finish at 3.30pm. For those that have booked for the London Eye option, we will have some free time to eat and/or shop and then all assemble at the London Eye for 5pm, where we will have our own capsule to see the City as the evening draws in. Members who have been say that the view is spectacular at this time of day.
In order for us to have our own private capsule we need a minimum of 18 people, so we hope that you will want to join us. If there are 18-20 of us, we will have plenty of room to move around in the pod. Another great advantage with having our own capsule is that we do not have to wait in a queue to board!
You will need to make your own travel arrangements, although we do have a local FSB member with an 8-seater vehicle. If you wish to know more about this, please email email@example.com
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so book early to ensure you don't miss out on this fabulous opportunity.
