The Climate Assembly UK team is providing an online briefing on the assembly's recommendations from its 'what we buy' theme. It will also present some of the wider results around the implications of the assembly's recommendations on taxation, spending and economic incentives.

Attendees will hear from:

  • Mel Stride MP, Chair of the Treasury Committee
  • Sarah Allan, Head of Engagement at Involve
  • Professor Lorraine Whitmarsh, University of Bath and CAUK Expert Lead
  • Chris Stark, Chief Executive of the Committee on Climate Change and CAUK Expert Lead

The event will take place over Zoom and will last an hour. There will be a chance to ask questions of the speakers.
