Alleyway Planting Workshop

Having access to a green space is incredibly important for our physical and mental well-being. In the past, Handy Helpers volunteers have teamed up with local residents to help transform alleyways around Holyland and Lower Ormeau areas. This year, we're hoping to transform another gated alleyway into a beautiful green space that can be enjoyed by students and local residents alike!

Join us for this session when filling planters with lots of bulbs, wildflower seeds and bedding plants that can be enjoyed by students and residents for years to come!

Lunch and all materials will be provided, so all you need is a pair of old jeans and a couple of hours of your day! We will also be providing PPE in the form of masks, gloves and hand sanitizer/wipes and all participants will be encouraged to maintain social distancing measures throughout the session.
