What happens when I arrive on campus? • You will be required to arrive on campus on your booked arrival slot which you have now It is important that you stick to this slot to ensure social distancing is supported. • You are only allowed to bring 1 car on campus and • You can be accompanied by two individuals with you to help you unpack your car and move into residences. • You and any individuals brought with you to help on the day are required to wear face masks when on campus. You will all need to be required to adhere to social distancing. You will need to collect your welcome packs and keys when you arrive on campus. There will be staff on hand to help and signage to follow. If you or any individual in your household or accompanying you to campus on the day has symptoms of COVID 19, has been in contact with anyone who has COVID 19 or has symptoms of COVID 19 we request that you do not travel to campus. If this happens please contact the accommodation team regarding this via accommodation@swansea.ac.uk and the MyUniSupport team via myunisupport@swansea.ac.uk Please watch our video and follow our H&S induction slide which will help you stay safe and allow for a smooth arrival process. You must complete this arrival booking in order to collect your keys to your accommodation.
Your contract start date is between the 16th and 21st of September, we are inviting you to book an arrival slot.
You will not be charged for the additional days but this will allow us to spread arrivals over a much longer time due to the current COVID-19 situation.
Please book 1 arrival slot for your arrival, if you need to change the slot at a later date you will be able to cancel your original booking and rebook.
Due to Safety and Maintenance, not all halls are available from the 10th of September. We ask that you contact your flatmates via Facebook and arrange a date when you are planning to arrive.
Arrange when you are arriving so that you are not alone in the flat, you can also organise who is bringing kitchen items so that you do not end up with 8 toasters and no pans! Meet your flatmates https://www.facebook.com/ResidentialServices
Your flat will form a household bubble and you will not need to socially distance within the flat.
