£12 for 2 Hour Badminton Session (in Balham) Lower Intermediate & Above

Come and join us for doubles badminton at the sports hall at Chestnut Grove Academy in Balham.

Only 1 minute walk from Balham tube and overground stations (entrance to the sports hall is on the side of the academy off of Boundaries Road).

Our Saturday sessions are aimed at lower intermediate players and above, we play on 2 courts, using feather shuttles and a focus on keeping the right level for enjoyable, flowing games whilst mixing up the games as much as possible.

We have 1 other court dedicated to beginners and improvers, hence if you are a beginner/improver or unsure of your level, then RSVP to that event instead -

Court 1 & 2: lower intermediate and above (rsvp to this event)

Court 3: beginners & Improvers (please rsvp to the other event instead)

We are a chilled, friendly group whilst still competitive in a friendly way.

We play for 2 hours - which includes setup/clearing out the hall - please note we must be out the hall by 2pm latest to allow the next bookings to arrive on time.

Come along to have fun, improve your game, make new friends, and keep fit.

Please bring drinking water with you to stay hydrated, and bring your own rackets.

You are responsible for your own health and wellbeing, and is recommend you warm up and stretch at the start and end of the session. The club nor the academy will be liable for any injury or loss to personal possessions at any time.

We have a 24 hours cancellation policy. To secure your spot, please submit payment at least 48 hours before the event. If payment isn't received by then, your spot may be released to someone on the waitlist. Sorry no cash payments please.
