Coronavirus (COVID-19) – attendance at FLEET SOURCE training courses

Please follow Public Health England’s (PHE) advice for returning travellers and attend Fleet Source courses only if it is not in breach of the latest advice. As the situation is ever evolving, please review the Public Health England website right up to the day of the training before making a decision about attending. Some open course venues may impose their own health and safety restrictions with regards to attendance, if this is the case, Fleet Source will contact our delegates separately. The course is designed to guide transport professionals at any level to develop an active role in ensuring legal compliance within their transport operation. The course provides an overview of the operator licensing system and details the fundamental undertakings, responsibilities and obligations that apply to operators.

Those responsible for the governance of a transport operation will benefit from the course, whilst front-line staff benefit greatly from the detailed course content being offered. An overview of the core undertakings and
responsibilities relating to transport management in one commercial sector.
This course also assists transport professionals to prevent possible/future non-compliance.

Course content includes:

  • Understanding Operator licence undertakings

  • Explaining the role of the enforcement authorities

  • Awareness of the Operator Compliance Risk Score(OCRS) system

  • Outlining the Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness

  • Describing an overview of drivers’ hours, working time and records

  • Comprehensive with driver licensing system

  • Understanding driver CPC requirements

Costs

IMPORTANT: If drivers wish to have their details uploaded to the DVSA website so it counts towards 35 hours DCPC, and their employer does not have an agreement with Fleet Source Ltd to invoice directly, then they will need to ensure they have paid the upload fee of £9.95 at https://shop.fleetsource.co.uk/product/dvsa-upload/ in advance of the course date.
(£9.95 Upload fee is £8.75 ex.VAT plus £1 administration (which includes certificate) plus VAT).

In order for a delegate to be accredited with the Driver CPC hours they must complete the entire course and arrive for the course promptly and on time.
