A walk considering misdeeds, misdemeanours, police and prisons in Winchester’s past.
Join one of Winchester’s professional guides for a 90 minute walking tour, starting at Winchester Visitor Information Centre.
This walking tour goes from Winchester’s Saxon Kings’ Courts to the modern-day Crown Court. Learn about crime and its consequences down the millennia and visit some of the many places of punishment and execution Winchester has had over that time. There are more of them than you might expect. Not for the faint hearted!
