Online session and Q&A with artists Addictive TV who will give an insight into how they created Drum & Docks - a video commissioned for the Join The Docks autumn 2020 programme.

Showcasing both local drumming talent and the magnificence of the Royal Docks themselves, Drum & Docks is a video piece where percussionists and drummers use the actual landmarks, bridges, railings and walkways to turn the Royal Docks into one giant performance stage!

The video premiered on YouTube on November 20th (see below).

During the Zoom session, the artists Graham Daniels and Michael Neo will explain how they created the piece, from recording vibrations with contact microphones to composing with samples. They will give a short demonstration on how to use the recorded samples to create remixes (we will provide a link to download a selection of free samples from the project).
