Join us for ROOTED, our monthly lunchtime gardening club, running from May to October 2025! Whether you're a local worker, resident, or just passing through, everyone is welcome to help green the neighbourhood.
Event Details:
When: First Wednesday of every month, May – October | 1:00 - 2:00 PM
Where: Locations alternate between Emma Cons Gardens (opposite The Old Vic) & Hercules Road.
Monthly Schedule:
- Wed 2 July – Emma Cons Gardens
- Wed 6 August – Hercules Road
- Wed 3 September – Emma Cons Gardens (Now moved to18 September)
- Wed 1 October – Hercules Road
What to Expect:
- Help maintain local planters and pocket parks
- Get your hands dirty planting, tidying up, and making the area bloom
- All gardening tools and materials provided – just bring yourself (and a friend!)
- Bonus: Volunteers will receive a FREE £10 voucher to grab lunch at Lower Marsh Market as a thank you!
